This article describes how to get credentials in your Azure storage account that have just enough access to read data in an Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2) container.
- With the container from the previous step open, click the storage account name in the navigation breadcrumb.
- Right-click the container, and then click Generate SAS.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to generate a shared access signature (SAS) token and URL. Make sure to specify both Read and List permissions.
- After you click Generate SAS token and URL, copy the Blob SAS token value that appears to a secure location.
